Diversity Icebreaker and Inclusive Competencies Inventory

Target group

This workshop is designed for facilitators, consultants, HR professionals, and coaches who are passionate about diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).

Contents

The Diversity Icebreaker and Inclusive Competencies Inventory are innovatively utilized in coaching and personal development. Diversity Icebreaker® (DI) is a renowned concept applied in cross-cultural contexts since the late 1990s. The DI workshop offers a social-constructivist, experiential learning process that utilizes a questionnaire to explore communication and problem-solving styles. These styles are expressed through Red, Blue, and Green communicative perspectives, fostering a systemic metaphor for collective intelligence.

This workshop not only introduces you to the DI concept but also its latest development, the Premium extended feedback. This addition transforms the DI into a traditional psychological test with scientific-based feedback, perfect for individual coaching and personal development.

Moreover, we delve into the broader challenges of DEIB with the newly developed Inclusive Competencies Inventory (ICI) by Kozai Group. The ICI assessment, combines personal assessment with a developmental plan grounded in social cognitive psychology, acknowledging the nuances of power in personal and social spheres.

Key takeaways from this workshop include:

•   Hands-on experience with the Diversity Icebreaker experiential learning process.

•   Introduction to the DI Premium extended feedback for deeper individual learning.

•   Insights on applying these concepts in diverse contexts, including cross-cultural situations and climate crisis scenarios.

•   Exploration of personal challenges in DEIB and application of the ICI in personal development.

•   Examples of application at the UNFCCC secretariat and in a hybrid leadership course for disaster response experts.

•   Comprehensive train-the-trainer materials, including the book “”Unleashing the Power of Diversity: How to Open Minds for Good.””

This one-day workshop is for those looking to enhance their skills in navigating complex intercultural scenarios and fostering inclusive environments. Equip yourself with the knowledge and tools to make a significant difference in the realms of diversity and inclusion.
