4-hour, in-person workshop in Malaga, Spain

What & Who

This 4-hour pre-conference workshop is designed for aspiring and experienced facilitators, trainers, and DEIB practitioners who want to deliver the Diversity Icebreaker® (DI) workshop with confidence and creativity. Participants will first experience a full DI session and then learn how to facilitate it themselves. This is for anyone looking to foster dialogue, inclusion, and innovation within teams, organizations, or communities.

What’s Included

During this workshop, you will:

- Experience DI firsthand: complete the DI questionnaire and engage in the standard DI workshop.

- Learn to facilitate: learn about the theory and research behind the model and learn how to facilitate the standard workshop step-by-step, including practical tips and discussing challenges.

- Extend and adapt: explore practical examples of DI’s application in leadership, communication, conflict management, change initiatives, stress and resilience, large-scale events, and cross-cultural collaboration.

- Follow-up work: get ideas for activities for follow-up and extended use.

- 25 Diversity Icebreaker Premium questionnaires! To be used within 3 months after the workshop.

Why Attend

This workshop is a unique opportunity for conference participants to really get to know the tool and get the most from two other DI-related sessions during the conference:

- Stress Management and Diversity — exploring how cognitive and cultural differences shape resilience.

- Diversity Icebreaker and Radical Innovation (online) — applying DI to unleash creativity and breakthrough solutions. With Bjørn Z. Ekelund – the tool’s creator joining from Norway.
